Women Friendly Leeds, Women's Lives Leeds, the Labyrinth Project at Leeds Women's Aid and Smart Works are running an Employability Campaign in response to women feeling concerned about employability regarding the pandemic and the future.
Our initiative is the 'Women Friendly Recruiter’s Checklist'. Employers can make the pledge to be a Women Friendly Recruiter, then receive the checklist, logos and other resources to support them to use our checklist as guidance on how they can improve their hiring practices to be more women friendly. The checklist includes points such as flexible working practices and positively recognising gaps in career histories and non-work experiences.
The Women Friendly Recruiters page website can be found below, which enables organisations to sign up, features all of the businesses that are Women Friendly Recruiters, and offers downloadable resources.
