The Bruntwood SciTech network of innovation districts is home to a specialist community of over 500 of the country’s most disruptive science and technology businesses across 11 campuses UK wide, including Platform in Leeds.

Platform is the best-connected transport and local amenity location in all of Leeds, connected directly to the city’s mainline train station in the heart of the city centre, less than 5 minutes walk from Trinity Leeds shopping and restaurant district, and is home to the city's only dedicated specialist Tech Hub. Home to a cluster of 100 of the region's most innovative tech and digital start ups, scale ups and leading tech names, Platform offers access to the flexible workspace, specialist community and support businesses need to form, scale and grow.

Providing a range of coworking and serviced office space, the Tech Hub is ideal for innovative digital and tech startups and SMEs looking to be part of a specialist incubator, or larger companies looking for a new regional base. Platform is also suitable for businesses looking for flexible space for teams working on short term projects or across multiple locations.

Companies located at Platform gain direct access to Bruntwood SciTech’s specialist tech and digital business support including highly skilled top STEM talent, funding, new markets and connections through their extensive partner network as well as being able to access their nationwide community of life science and tech companies.

Businesses also benefit from regular innovation events including business breakfast events, LegalTech innovation talks, tech Meetups, drop in clinics and skills marketplace events to help companies find the tech talent of the future, upskill existing talent and help with recruitment strategies. They also offer Tech Tuesday; a networking and drop in session bringing together a wide range of business support services, industry partners and funding networks within the tech sector to provide expert advice on growing and scaling a tech business.

To support the next generation of female founders, Bruntwood SciTech launched a Female Founders Incubator at Platform. The six month programme supports eight early stage female founders with mentoring from successful founders and CEOs, including award winning Zandra Moore and Anna Sutton from local scaling tech companies, monthly professional support and advice from partners including Mazars, Fund Her North, Berwins Digital, Social PR & Communications, Leeds Beckett University and the Department of International Trade, and six months free desk space within the Tech Hub. Alongside this, Bruntwood SciTech also hosts their Female Founders Forum, a bi-monthly networking event to connect female founders in tech across the city to help build a support network.
