Leeds, known for its thriving digital hub and vibrant tech scene, is gearing up to host Leeds Digital Careers Fair (LDCF) 2024, a pivotal event that aims to connect job seekers with exciting opportunities in the digital and tech sector. Delivered by Employment and Skills at Leeds City Council, taking place during the main Leeds Digital Festival in September, this not-for-profit event focuses on inspiring individuals who are not currently working in the digital or tech industry to explore diverse career paths and training courses available within the growing digital landscape.
Last year's event attracted approximately 4000 enthusiastic job seekers, highlighting the event's impact in bridging the gap between talent and opportunity. LDCF24 is hoping to build on that success by offering an even wider range of opportunities for job seekers and employers alike. This year's fair promises to be even more engaging and informative, with plans to incorporate further interactive elements that provide attendees with a hands-on experience. The 2024 Leeds Digital Careers Fair is designed around three key pillars: 'inform,' 'inspire,' and 'include.' Aiming to create an event that informs attendees about the wide range of digital careers available, inspires them to pursue these opportunities, and ensures inclusivity by encouraging participation from diverse backgrounds.
