Morley jobs & skills fair

The Morley Jobs & Skills Fair, held on Tuesday 21 October 2025 at Morley Leisure Centre, brought together local employers, training providers, and support services to connect residents with job and skills opportunities.

Organised by the Employment and Skills Service in partnership with the Morley Town Deal Board, the event featured a wide range of exhibitors including Landsec (White Rose Shopping Centre), Harron Homes, DAZN, Luminate Education Group, and the Department for Work and Pensions. Opportunities on offer spanned sectors such as retail, care, construction, cleaning, and hospitality.

The fair attracted around 280 attendees, with visitors describing it as “really useful” and “well organised.” Exhibitors also responded positively, with 92% saying they would attend again and 100% rating council support as excellent or good.

The event played a key role in connecting residents with local job and training opportunities, while enabling Morley businesses to engage with potential recruits and promote their services. Plans are already underway to build on this success with future events.
