Leeds Digital Careers Fair 2023
Leeds Digital Careers Fair took place on 26th September at Leeds first direct arena, ran by the Employment & Skills team. The event forms part of the Future Talent Leeds, with ambitions of enabling the right opportunities for people and businesses.
Following the success of the inaugural Leeds Digital Careers Fair (LDCF) in Sep 2022, the event returned for 2023. This year taking place during Leeds Digital Festival as a key recruitment event for the digital sector, showcasing the wide range of digital and tech careers which Leeds has to offer.
The not-for-profit careers and recruitment event was aimed at people who are not already working in digital or tech, but eager to learn more about the exciting training courses and career options available within our vibrant and growing digital sector. Exhibitors from Leeds and the Leeds city region were invited to exhibit and help us to open the door into digital opportunities, inspiring more people to take up a career within digital and tech. This was a chance for organisations to meet new talent to help fill current vacancies, spot talent for future opportunities and encourage people to enrol on upcoming training courses.
This year's event had a focus on ‘inform’ ‘inspire’ and ‘include’ as 3 key pillars which ran throughout the fair, with more interactive elements to the event from last year, including 3 inspire pods for demonstrations.
