As part of the Morley Town Deal initiative, Ahead Partnership will be delivering an employer led education programme called Growing Talent Morley to address skills gaps in the town through collaborative work between education and training providers and local employers.

Growing Talent Morley will work with primary and secondary schools in the area along with an FE college to develop activities which will harness the strength of the local employer base in order to provide employer-led skills development programmes to improve the skills base of the community.

Through activities such as careers panels, inspirational speakers, workshop masterclasses and employability and world of work events, the aim of the programme is to increase the share of young people and adults who have relevant skills for employment and entrepreneurship and to take advantage of opportunities in Leeds and the wider city region.
