Young people working

As part of the Future Talent Plan, we are delighted to announce our next campaign focused on fixing work experience. We want to encourage more young people across the city into exciting careers they currently don’t see and make the process fairer by making opportunities more visible to a diverse range of candidates.

Leeds City Council have partnered with Workfinder, a digital platform that makes connecting with skilled talent in the local community simple, helping our local businesses and young people thrive.

Workfinder is a digital platform with smart AI matching to connect skilled talent with work opportunities for impactful work experience, placements and internships. They are backed by the Cabinet Office, CBI, Barclays, Fidelity, Innovate UK and the CIPD.

This is a great opportunity to help employers in Leeds find emerging and diverse talent and support our young people with gaining access to pre-career taster days, work placements and internships.

The first 100 businesses signing up to Workfinder Leeds will have 3 months access to receive assistance with recruitment and upskilling of applicants, diversity data relating to applications to your business, giving you real time insights into your reach into the local community. Employers can use the coupon code FUTURETALENTLEEDS22 during the sign-up process to subscribe for free.
