In February 2022 the Leeds Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair returned in person at the Leeds First Direct Arena
This is the largest apprenticeship recruitment fair in the north of England. Over 6,000 free tickets were claimed ahead of the event. As in previous years the fair took place to mark the start of National Apprenticeship Week 2022.
94 employers and training providers provided information and live apprenticeship opportunities.
A wide range of sectors were represented including, Agriculture, Care Services, Creative and Design, Digital, Legal, Finance and Accounting and much more. BAM Nuttall, Leeds Manufacturing Festival, Health and Care Apprenticeships, IBM, Jet2, PwC, the Armed Forces, West Yorkshire Police, Zenith were just some of the organisations exhibiting.
Of the visitors surveyed 86% stated they were either more likely to start an apprenticeship or more interested in an apprenticeship because of attending LARF22.
